Short notice concert in Auditorium of Tenerife June 2010
On 11 June Simone Lamsma performed Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto with the Tenerife Symphony Orchestra under Lan Shui in Santa Cruz, Tenerife. She was invited by the orchestra just 2 days before the concert date to replace the originally scheduled soloist.
Simone Lamsma replaces Vadim Repin April 2010
On 18 April Simone Lamsma gave her Brazilian recital debut with pianist Valentina Lisitsa at very short notice, replacing Vadim Repin and Itamar Golan, who were the originally scheduled artists. The recital took place in the prestigious Sala Cecilia Mereiles in Rio de Janeiro, and received an overwhelming response from the audience.
In 2011 Simone will be returning to Brazil to perform in São Paulo with the São Paulo Symphony Orchestra under Yan Pascal Tortelier.
Documentary April 2010
On Sunday 18 April 2010 at 13.00 a 40-minute documentary about Simone Lamsma will be broadcasted on Dutch National television station Nederland 2. The documentary includes footage of rehearsals and concerts with the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden, a visit to London, and interviews with Simone and others. The documentary was made by the NPS and will be broadcasted in the programme NPS Podium.
Further to the broadcast of the documentary, NPS Television will repeat the broadcast of last 7 December 2009, in which Simone Lamsma performs Shostakovich Concerto no. 1 with the Dutch Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under maestro Jaap van Zweden. This broadcast will take place on Monday evening 19 April 2010 on Dutch National television station Nederland 2 at 23.30.
Britten Violin Concerto broadcast March 2010
After a hugely successful month of concerts with the Royal Flemish Philharmonic under Paul Watkins and the Dallas Symphony Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden performing Britten’s Violin Concerto, Simone Lamsma will now bring this stunning concerto to the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, performing with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest under Jaap van Zweden during the Matinee series on Saturday 6 March.
This concert will be broadcasted live on Dutch classical music station Radio 4 on 6 March from 13.00 (Dutch time) and will be repeated on Tuesday 9 March at 20.02 (Dutch time).

TV Broadcast November 2009
In October Simone Lamsma performed Shostakovich First Violin Concerto with the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest under Jaap van Zweden, to great critical acclaim. This concert was part of the ‘Vrijdag van Vredenburg’ concert series in Utrecht, Netherlands.
The performance was recorded by Dutch national television for broadcast on7 December at 23.40 (Dutch time) in the programme NPS Podium on Nederland 2.
On Sunday 8 November at 14.00 (Dutch time), the concert given last Friday (6 November) with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra under Yannick Nézet-Séguin will be broadcasted on Dutch Classical Music Station ‘Radio 4’. This concert was the opening of the Dutch Classical Music Week 2009.

On Friday 30 October (at 20.15 Dutch time) and Sunday 1 November (at 11.00 Dutch time) Simone Lamsma will be performing Shostakovich Violin Concerto no.1 with the Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra under Jaap van Zweden. Both concerts will be broadcasted live on Dutch Classical Radio Station ‘Radio 4’.

Classical WETA is Washington's only classical music radio station.
On 27 June 2009 Simone will replace the scheduled soloist in a performance of Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole with the Philharmonisches Orchester Heidelberg in Germany under conductor Dietger Holm. The concert is part of the Heidelberger Schlossfestspiele.

In May Simone will embark on a US tour, where she’ll return to the Indianapolis Chamber Orchestra to perform Bruch’s Scottish Fantasy under Kirk Trevor.
She will also make her debut with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto under conductor Jaap van Zweden.

Simone Lamsma’s recital during Festival Classique on 14 June will be broadcasted and webcasted live by Dutch Classical Radio Station 'Radio 4' (AVRO). She will be performing works by Stravinsky, Ysaÿe and Saint-Saëns with pianist Hannes Minnaar.

“The top six winners of International Violin Competition (Qingdao) were announced and awarded in Qingdao Great Hall of People this Wednesday after three rounds of fierce competition. The Netherlands girl, Hilde Simone Lamsma, from Royal Academy of Music, UK won the first prize. The competition witnesses great progress in the level of violin playing in China. Chinese girl Wang Zhiling from Shang Conservatory of Music took the second place. Half of the top 6 winners are Chinese contestants.
